COVID – 19 Safety Measures for our ongoing and upcoming Yoga Teacher Training Courses – Class Arrangements

The safety of our members and staff is our top priority.

All our Teacher Training courses and recommended group classes are currently being held in the studio.
Students have the option to attend the Teacher Training classes online.  All YTT classes are live streamed to enable students who prefer to study via online learning mode to do so at the comfort of their home.

Please note the following options available to Teacher Training students.  Students have the option to attend the teacher training classes online and/or at the studio.

Students have the option to attend the recommended group classes and Andiappan yoga classes online and/or at the studio.

Practical assessment of the teacher training can be arranged and completed online.

Students can complete and submit the written assignment online and complete the course.

In any case, should there be a requirement for temporary closure of the studio due to the government’s social distancing measures, the Teacher Training classes and all our group and Andiappan yoga classes will continue to run online to ensure students enjoy a smooth learning experience.

During the closure period, should the current YTT students prefer to wait for the studio to reopen and to attend the Teacher Training classes,  there is an option to arrange for a batch transfer to another batch of the remaining Teacher Training classes at the studio once the studio is reopened.  The batch transfer fee will be waived for this group of students.

Once the Hong Kong government relaxes the measure, we will plan to move the Teacher Training classes back to the studio in accordance with Government guidelines.

At Anahata, we strive to give the best learning experience possible and to help you stay inspired on your yoga journey.

Why us?

We recognize that yoga is a popular pursuit in Hong Kong. People seek it out for its health benefits and often incorporate it into their active lifestyles. However, yoga instruction is not equal among the various yoga centres in Hong Kong. This is where our accredited Teacher Training Courses make all the difference.

Our courses are accredited by and offered in conjunction with, Asana Andiappan College of Yoga and Research Centre in India. This is the first time outside of India that such a programme is being offered.

Our classes are designed and taught in the same way as our instructors are taught. Predominantly from India, our instructors are fully learned not only in the practice of their discipline but also in the history and philosophy behind the practice. The resulting combination of grassroots knowledge both practical and theoretical in our programmes give students more in-depth learning that they may able to find elsewhere in Hong Kong.
