YIN YANG Yoga Workshops with Master Vishnu Kumar

Yin Yang combines a strong dynamic 'yang' practice with a static, gentle 'yin' practice to strengthen the body whilst releasing tension and relaxing the mind leaving you feeling calm and refreshed. While Yang yoga promotes endurance and muscular strength, Yin yoga focuses on inner qualities such as surrender and receptivity. In these workshops, we'll look at the concept of yin and yang in our minds, energy systems and bodies, enjoying a  practice based on both. Traditionally Yin Yang is also called Hatha Yoga  where yang is equated to a dynamic, more challenging practice where there is muscle engagement and opportunity to build strength. Yin, however, is gentle and quiet, represented by meditation, pranayama (breathing) Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga.
