Theory
- Introduction to Hatha Yoga
- Introduction to Asana, Pranayama, Mudras, Bandhas and Kriyas
- Study of Various muscles and joints.
Study and Practice of
- Back Bending Asanas
- Forward Bending Asanas
- Twisting Asanas
- Inversion Asanas
- Balancing Asanas
30 – 35 asanas( poses) will be covered in each level and each asana will be explained in detail. For each asana the following details will be covered.
- History of the pose,
- Name of the pose, (Nomenclature)
- Steps,
- Breathing pattern,
- Various approaches to the pose,
- Final Pose,
- Modification for beginners,
- Chakra awareness,
- Variation for Intermediate and advanced level practitioners,
- Anatomical study of the asana,
- Alignment techniques,
- Neutralizing pose,
- Counter pose
- Partner Assist / Adjustment
