The 200 hr YTT is a transformational experience. From a practitioner who come to group classes from time to time, to building up the knowledge behind Yoga history, philosophy, practicals, it guides me to embark on a journey to discover more about yoga. It seems like the whole point of teacher training would be to learn to teach. But there're much more to it. It’s more about exploring your love for yoga and deepening your practice. I love the experience of immersing myself in it and with others who enjoy it as much as me. Also, I love that the teachers are very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching yoga. They made a good role model of how a "good" yogi / yoga teacher should be. Many thanks to them. Namaste.

Months of yoga training hasn't been quiet an easy journey for me. I had fears to overcome as I had doubts and questions to myself before applying the course; Is it ok to apply if I can’t even touch my toes in forward bend? How am I going to manage my time between classes, work and personal obligations? After all, I am glad that I applied the yoga teacher training course because I’ve learned a lot of things from it about myself, yoga and life. The teacher training course was a major eye opener, I’ve learned many lessons, I’ve met some amazing yoga lovers; I’ve overcome countless obstacles. Throughout my yoga teacher training, I learned so much about my body, I have a better understanding of what my body can do and what adjustment I should make for myself in my yoga practice. I am thankful for my practice with the masters and the others that yoga helps being a better self. Yoga taught me self-love. Also, I am grateful that I’ve learned how to be a good yoga instructor, A good instructor can read their class, and adjust as required even the tone of the voice is needed to be considered. Masters from Anahata have given me many gifts. Yoga is an ongoing practice, I will continue my practice to be a better me and to get better at living. Namaste!

This course provided knowledgeable teachers, I gain more than what the textbook has given and what I have expected. The anatomy part is really great and detailed. I love it very much. Through the course, I think myself has improved in experiencing the differences on body and mindset. My flexibility and inner strength is improving, as I can do some of the advanced poses that I couldn't do before. I learn how to relief stress and calm myself better especially for the past few months with the work stress. Before the course, I know stretching is essential to our body only. After this course, my concept is more well-rounded with the development of mind, body and spirit.

The masters were professional, experienced and passionate. They could answer all my queries on yoga and merged the lecture content into daily life examples. It's deepened my understand of yoga and increased my passion to yoga. The 30 classes included in the course were a great experience, too. The class style and sequence were quite different from what I usually practiced in another center. An inversion (especially headstand) was included in almost every class... and I managed to do a headstand without a wall during that period! Practice and all is coming.

The course is meaningful which teaches me a lot of knowledge about yoga therapy. I've found out that yoga therapy can help people with diseases. It also makes me know that practising yoga can change a people’s life and even their family member's.

I thought the course was useful by providing me with a better understanding of the body, it's muscular skeletal system and the ailments that a person can be diagnosed with and how to manage it with the practice of yoga therapy. It would have been even better if we could have spent more time on learning about Ayurvedic Medicine in more depth but I understand this a vast subject to cover in such a short amount of time.

Firstly, I want to thanks for Master Yogananth, Master Vishunu, Master Anurag and Master Mahesh who taught us for the past 3 months. So happy I am one of the students of this YTT 200 course.During the course, I have learned the history of different lineages of yoga; the human anatomy, the asanas and the teaching techniques. It totally changed my concept of yoga. After the course, I have known that yoga is more than that asanas. It harmonizes our physical body and mind. Yoga is a lifestyle rather than a sport. And what the masters always said: Never compare to others inspired me a lot asI used to be upset when I can't achieve to the asana. However, I begin to appreciate every movement of my body and enjoy different progress I made. And I want to send my big thanks to all the masters and staffs in Anahata who gave me an unforgettable experience in my life.

This is my first TT program with Anahata and it's an eye opening experience for me. The course was well structured and had a good balance between theroy and practice. The part I enjoyed the most is the topic on marmas, and I will try and do more studies on it on my own. Sorry for the late submission of assignment, was occupied by work these days, many apoligies. Namaste!

It was overall a very good experience. I have deepened my knowledge in all aspects of Yoga practice and experienced different teaching methods. It's a first step to going deeper into the knowledge, developing further my personal practice and teaching to beginners. I would have liked to see more time dedicated to mentoring, teaching methodology and yoga philosophy discussions.

When I started this course I knew that I loved yoga as an enjoyable and relaxing form of exercise. The course changed my understanding of what yoga is and how important it is in developing a healthy lifestyle. In particular I enjoyed learning about the role and importance of active and passive meditation, the essential dependency of a healthy mind and body, the role of a healthy vegan/vegetarian diet and the anatomy of the human body. I found the knowledge and passion of the instructors very inspiring. I want to continue learning and developing my yoga practice in the future. I feel more confident about sharing my yoga practice with my friends and family, and I hope I'll be able to participate in voluntary work in the community.

It's been a great learning experience. After I took my first 200-hr YTT in 2014 and started to teach part time, people started to ask me what they should do if they have different kind of conditions. At that time, I had no idea what to advise. This course has helped me in understanding my own anatomy and what and how to observe others. Although it is an introductory for common diseases and injuries, it helps me to understand more about how yoga therapy could help and what I could advise client and design a class specific for different types of condition.

The 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training Certificate Course is comprehensive and what I have experienced is far more than the 200-hr course included. First, the 40 hours self practice allow me to try all different types of yoga class, from Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga balance and core yoga. Throughout these practice, I have learnt more about asana practicing, more on self improvement, focusing more on enjoying yoga and find myself more calm and balance. Master of each class always provide their professional instructions and advice which allow me to enjoy the classes I have attended. The 30 classes of Adiappan yoga practice are the best and very valuable time for my practice. Each one or two hours class allows us to first, doing group practice, then do self practice under supervised by masters. I particular like the choices of class, from Shoulders and upper back, back bending, hips and hamstrings, wall series, inversion, and twisting, so I can do practice focusing on particular body parts which I hope to improve. In the YTT course, my classmates and I attended to the classes twice a week since November last year. It has been a long but fruitful journey, as we have been guided and have discovered the world of yoga from its history, philosophy, basic anatomy of human, asana practice, teaching practice and techniques. We have opportunities to exchange our ideas when we have discussion together and we have our doubts cleared when we asked questions to masters during the course. And the yoga journey is not only about doing poses, it is all about getting know more about ourselves and find the peace. I enjoy the class a lot especially when I can find myself improve a little each time after both theory classes and practical classes. I would like to send my deepest gratitude to all masters in the classes that I have attended, thank you for your teaching and I hope I will see you again in my upcoming yoga journey. Namaste.
